Remote Learning To Continue Through June 30

Dear CSN Family,

In consideration of Gov. Steve Sisolak’s “Stay at Home” order issued today, as well as NSHE Chancellor Thom Reilly’s latest guidance, the College of Southern Nevada will remain in a remote learning environment through June 30. All CSN classes that are currently being conducted remotely will remain so for the duration of the spring semester.

All Summer 2020 classes will be conducted remotely through the duration of the first Summer session, and there will be no in-person classes during this time. During the second Summer session, CSN will assess the viability of delivering Career & Technical Education (CTE), Health Profession Clinicals, science labs, and other courses that may require face-to-face instruction and that can be delivered under the COVID-19 protocol.

The Nevada System of Higher Education’s Board of Regents is scheduled to meet next week to discuss issues surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic. You can see the agenda on NSHE’s website.

Please stay safe and as always, we will keep you updated as events develop.

Thank you.
