Local small business Revive Brand makes backpacks, bags and accessories
LAS VEGAS, July 19, 2017 – A local small business that was born as part of the College of Southern Nevada’s Business Incubator Program will be featured on ABC’s “Funderdome” with Steve Harvey at 9 p.m. Sunday. There will be a watch party at the college to celebrate.
Revive Brand, which makes and sells backpacks, hats and other “streetwear,” is one of more than 40 local startup business with roots in the program.
“It has been incredible to be a part of helping an idea become a successful reality,” said CSN Business Professor Kevin Raiford, who started and runs the incubator program. “I couldn’t be prouder than I am of this group of people.”
Raiford is also the program manager of Nevada Grow, a state-funded program designed to benefit local small businesses, which includes Revive. The program is a partnership between CSN, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, the Nevada Small Business Development Center and other local interest groups.
