Formula 1® (F1) Racing -Las Vegas Grand Prix Impact to CSN Campuses

As you are aware, the international Formula 1® (F1) racing event, also known as the Las Vegas Grand Prix, is scheduled to run from Thursday, November 16, through Saturday, November 18.

  • This event is expected to significantly impact traffic and potentially disrupt commuting routes to and from the various CSN campuses.
  • Affected roads (see attached map) will begin a soft closure at 5 p.m. each of these days with a full closure from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. the next morning.
  • It is expected that the entire week may present travel challenges for our campuses with more than 100,000 individuals expected to attend each night of the event.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach should be considered to ensure the continuity of educational and business functions throughout the week.
  • Please anticipate possible delays and consider alternative travel routes from the outset to minimize disruption.
  • In addition, I recommend visiting these resources to learn more about the Formula 1® race and its impacts on traffic:
