Carey Sedlacek is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety and has been with the college since August of 2019. Much of her time at CSN has been focused on COVID-19 response efforts in the areas of contact tracing and case management, public health promotion, PPE acquisition and dissemination, and on-campus protocols and compliance.
Carey has over 15 years of diverse safety and environmental experience through her service as an Environmental Science Officer in the U.S. Army as well as civilian positions in healthcare, biotechnology, and now higher education.
As part of a military family, Carey has lived in many places across the U.S. but she and her husband and their three-year-old son are now happy to call Las Vegas home.
