Dr. Francis Carleton received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in Bloomington and teaches American government and politics, politics of minority groups, international politics and political theory at CSN. He has expertise in state and federal politics as well as sex discrimination law.
Kenneth E. Fernandez: 702-218-7958
Dr. Kenneth E. Fernandez received his Ph.D. at the University of California, Riverside. Prior to coming to CSN, Dr. Fernandez was the director of the Elon University Poll which conducted public opinion research in North Carolina. His research interests include survey methodology, criminal justice, education, direct democracy and local economic development. His research has been published in a number of journals, including Survey Practice, Political Studies, Educational Policy, Journal of Political Science Education, Prison Journal, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of the American Planning Association, and Columbia Human Rights Law Review.
Mark Peplowski: 702-339-5408
Professor Mark Peplowski has a master’s degree in survey research and public administration and a law degree from the University of San Diego. He has completed coursework for a Master’s in Political Management at George Washington University and managed and consulted on political campaigns for past 30 years. He is an expert on state and federal politics and history. He has also managed and consulted on political campaigns for the past 30 years.
