The College of Southern Nevada and the Nevada State Gaming Control Board just wrapped up the 50th “Protecting the Games” academy at CSN, part of the longstanding relationship between the two entities.
David Hernandez, professor and director of CSN’s Casino Management Program, called the GCB the world’s best gaming enforcement agency. He said he was proud that he and CSN have had a relationship with the state agency for 20 years.
“They’re the gold standard,” he said.
The academy, which wrapped up last week, trains enforcement agents from the GCB and other agencies around the world about casino games, regulations, and various illegal activities surrounding them.
The next academy is set for this March.
