Once finals are over and the semester is done, students get a bit of a break to celebrate winter holidays or just relax after a busy semester. But what about your friendly, neighborhood CSN library? We’ll still be open for students who need our services over the break and keeping busy catching up on other activities this winter!
Starting December 19, all CSN campus libraries will be open Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm (closed on both Saturday and Sunday).
Starting Monday, January 4, the CSN campus libraries will be open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm (closed on both Saturday and Sunday). Regular semester hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17.

In the meantime, we thought we’d share a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes with our librarians and library staff once the semester ends. Ever wonder what they do over Winter Break? Read on to find out!
Over break I will be trying out some old family recipes that I haven’t had in years. I can’t wait to see how they turn out!” -Beth Schuck
During this Winter Break I plan to finally get around to piecing together my Ugly Christmas Sweater. Lights, tinsel, bells, and some more holiday goodies.” -Joshua Rushing
I plan on a few things that need to completed this winter break: 1) I will be moving so I will be doing a lot of packing and unpacking for the break. 2) I will be decorating the circulation department like we always do for the holidays. 3) Hoping to complete my class with a well deserved “B”. 4) Completing a project with the circulation department with some rearranging of the magazine section.” -Tia Macklin
This year I will celebrate winter ‘Hogwarts’ style, visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with my family and friends. -Anonymous

Henderson Campus Library staff will be around the campus all break long getting ready to start another busy semester. We’re so grateful for our Henderson students–they continue to make the library a welcoming special place on campus for college work, support, and friendship.” -Clarissa Erwin
