You may have noticed things have been a bit…loud on each campus. Maybe you walked by fences or dirt on the way to the library and wondered what was going on. The good news is that all this construction work and change is to build our first ever Student Unions on each CSN campus, set to open Fall 2019! The bad news is that you might be hearing a lot of noise over the next few months.
Don’t worry–the library is here for you! At West Charleston, where the construction is happening right outside our library windows, we have free earplugs available to students who want to study with a little more focus and not so much sound in the background.
We also will be tracking the Student Union progress as best we can to be able to provide you with updates on what’s happening on your campus. Check out the awesome bird’s eye view photos of the Henderson Student Union construction, taken via drone! Photos provided by Paul Bulver from the CSN Department of Applied Technologies.
So, while it could be a bit harder to study during the transition, please pardon the dust and noise as CSN works on improving the campus for you!
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact a librarian.
