You want the world to be a better place and so you came to college to learn things and do better and to remake the society in which you live in the image you have had in your head for ages now.
Get started. Do it here, on CSN’s Charleston campus, next week, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, AprilĀ 30 in room K-101. Do it by making your voice heard. We’re going to have CSN’s president there. We’re going to have the student body president. We’re going to have dozens, scores, maybe hundreds of people who don’t wear suits and ties, too. You know, people just like you.
We’re calling it a Town Hall, because things have to have names. What it really is, though, is this: A time and a place set aside just for you, for CSN students and staffers, faculty and parents, to say a word or two or twenty or a hundred about the issues in the news.
Guns on campus? Yea or nay?
Scholarships for students in need? You like? You don’t like?
We want to know. We’ll gather up what we learn and bring it up north, to Carson City, where your legislators are talking about these and many other important changes that could come to CSN and the entire state higher ed system.
Don’t let all that happen without having a say.
