This month CSN Libraries shines a spotlight on women by displaying books on topics related to the events sponsored by the CSN Women’s Alliance. Here are some of the upcoming events:
- Women’s History Month Henderson Mixer: Thursday, March 21, 2 to 4 p.m., Henderson Campus, C Building, Room 133. Food, prizes, presentations, questions, discussions & more!
- Nevada Women’s Film Festival: Thursday through Sunday, March 21-24, Eclipse Theaters (814 S. Third Street). See event website for times and details.
- Women’s History Panel Discussion- Reproductive Rights in the Era of Trump: Monday, March 25, 6:30 to 9 p.m., Charleston Campus, K Building, Room 101. A panel of experts from the ACLU, Planned Parenthood & UNLV’s Sociology Department will discuss issues surrounding women’s reproductive rights under the Trump administration.
- How Long Must Women Wait for Liberty? Wednesday, March 27, 3 p.m., Charleston Campus, D Building, Room 101. A stage reading from Dr. DeAnna Beachley’s book of poetry on the women’s suffrage movement.
