Your Library Loves You!

Librarian with candy

Love is in the air! This Valentine’s Day you may or may not have a significant other, but remember that your library will never stop caring about you! And to show our appreciation for students we’re offering a little bit of love at each CSN campus library.

Stop by the Reference Desk at your CSN libraries to receive a free treat on Valentine’s Day–Tuesday, February 14. Candy is available while supplies last!

At the West Charleston and North Las Vegas Campus Libraries, you can also create your own Valentine’s craft–a heart card to send to someone special, a letter about why you love the library, or even a beaded bracelet if you need a last minute gift idea (beading is a great way to de-stress between classes too).

But if Valentine’s Day just isn’t your thing, you might want to enter our Ant-Valentine’s Day “World’s Worst Breakup Text Contest“. What’s worse than than a bad breakup? Breaking up over text! Write us the world’s worst breakup text (50 words or less) and submit it to CSN Libraries before February 17 to be considered and voted on by our librarians.

Winners will be announced at the end of February on our Facebook and Instagram.

You can submit your Breakup Text by:

E-mailing entries to: stephanie.espinoza@csn.edu

Through a Facebook message at: facebook.com/CSNLibraryServices

Or you can drop them off at the Reference Desk at any CSN campus library.

Edit: Our winner is in! The winning breakup text is:

“SERVICE ERROR 404: Message Delivery Failed. Further messages will be charged to your account.”
